The interrogation of the aesthetic qualities of material, colour, and form were key to the development of Duality which was a conversation about the altered states of reality and imagination. Clay ‘fabric’ was the constant that was tested contextually against an urn, flame, and weight. Rather than literal forms, they were cast in clay with attendant processes and materiality that enhanced the concept as opposed to the real.
