4.0, 2022

Found offcuts of plyboard, softwood, and tubular steel.

4.0 is an anti self-portrait, elements of the table were created and deconstructed to confront, chronologise, and connect memories of public humiliation, hidden shame and trauma experienced over four decades of life. Conceptual ideas of replica and monumental were applied to a biographical object and a ‘sign system’ was devised as a visual narrative to personal experiences and memories.
